Communications Intern

This role is ideal for college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who are interested in communications, marketing, or storytelling and want hands-on experience at a technology company shaping the future of digital banking.The intern will collaborate closely with the communications and marketing team to support internal communications, digital content, and engagement initiatives, gaining exposure to how a high-growth FinTech company communicates with employees, clients, and the broader market.Key Responsibilities and DeliverablesWhat you will be responsible for and what you will doAssist with content creation for internal communications, newsletters, and employee updatesSupport social media content, with an emphasis on LinkedIn and corporate brand storytellingContribute to website and blog content, including drafting, proofreading, and content updatesResearch topics related to technology, digital banking, FinTech trends, and company initiativesHelp support events, employee engagement activities, and community programsCollaborate with communications and marketing team members on creative projects and campaignsProvide general project and administrative support to help the team meet deadlines and prioritiesQualifications and ExperienceCurrently enrolled college student (freshman, sophomore, or junior)Pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related fieldStrong written communication skills with attention to detailFamiliarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedInEagerness to learn, take feedback, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace toolsMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Hybrid in NYC Office.Preferred DistinctionsInterest in technology, FinTech, or digital bankingExperience with writing, blogging, student organizations, or campus communicationsExposure to content creation or design tools (e.g., Canva or similar platforms)Prior internship, volunteer, or project-based experience in communications or marketingWhat You'll GainHands-on experience in corporate communications and marketingMentorship from experienced communications and marketing professionalsResume-building experience at a growing technology companyExposure to how a FinTech organization communicates internally and externallyStatement to Third Party Agencies
