CI Operations Excellence Program Manager

** This is a strategic leader reporting directly to the Division President. It is a remote position based in Portland where the largest manufacturing site is and will involve quarterly travel to 2 other US based sites with more frequent on-site work at the Portland facility (97210). **Salary Expectations:-140-160K base-20% bonusKeys:Project Management experience in machine shops and heavy industrySDP Administration experienceMulti-Site CI leadershipIntegration & Operational Excellence Program ManagerThis role is a practical, cross-functional generalist responsible for getting complex work done. The Project Manager builds structure, drives cadence, clarifies owners and next steps, escalates decisions, and ensures measurable progress across (1) integration programs, (2) our Strategic Deployment Process (SDP) operating system, and (3) continuous improvement (CI) enablement.This Integration & OE Program manager will be expected to:· Identify and prioritize cross-functional opportunities grounded in data and operational reality· Translate opportunities into executable plans with owners, timelines, and KPIs· Drive alignment with senior leadership and remove blockers through structured escalation· Measure impact, report progress, and ensure gains are sustained (not one-time wins)Key Responsibilities1) Project Management (primary day-to-day): Drive cross-functional programs to completion with clear plans, owners, and accountability.· Lead post-acquisition integration programs for newly acquired manufacturing businesses:o Build and maintain integration plans across Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, HR, EHS, and Complianceo Establish governance, milestones, and reportingo Drive workstream leader accountability and on-time completion· Coordinate cross-functional enterprise projects (as assigned), such as:o Facility/equipment moveso ERP deploymentso Banking/treasury transitionso Other company-wide priorities requiring structured execution· Run a standard PM operating rhythm:o 100-day plans (where applicable), timelines (Gantt or equivalent), weekly check-ins, risk/issue tracking, and decision logs2) Strategic Execution (SDP administration and accountability): Run the SDP operating cadence so initiatives stay measurable, current, and on track.· Own the SDP cadence and mechanics:o Maintain the X-matrix, initiative charters/action plans, KPI definitions, and corrective-action trackingo Ensure initiative owners update progress; remove ambiguity on “what happens next”· Facilitate monthly executive SDP reviews:o Highlight gaps vs. targets and missed milestoneso Drive corrective actions, owners, and due dateso Surface decision points and trade-offs for leadership resolution3) Continuous Improvement (CI leadership and enablement): Lead and enable CI work using practical manufacturing CI tools; ensure gains sustain.· Lead and embed CI initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma (or similar) tools with a practical manufacturing mindset· Identify, prioritize, and execute value creation opportunities across:o Safety, quality, delivery, cost, and working capital· Facilitate CI events and problem-solving:o Value stream mapping, kaizen events, root-cause/problem-solving workshops· Establish CI standard work:o Governance, cadence, sustainment practices (especially post-integration)· Coach site leaders and cross-functional teams on CI tools and change leadership
