You will partner with North America-based businesses within the Diversified Food and Health Division, on major sourcing and procurement activities. An excellent candidate for this position will be a leader through teamwork, organization, collaboration and influence. You will be a bridge between the site, regional procurement, and global category management teams, to improve performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a strategic and operational mindset — someone who can both define direction and through supplier management, cost optimization, and leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with sites on sourcing savings programs to achieve annual gross and net savings targetsTranslate global and regional strategies and site specifics and priorities into division-specific sourcing strategy and plans and preferred suppliersAlign sourcing programs with local our prioritiesProject manages major sourcing projects for category spends in machining, fabrications, electronics, and other categories through an excellent understanding of direct material and a focus on sourcing processes and execution.Support other regional and local sourcing activities with site leaders and work with buyers to promote best practices and policy disciplineLead division-level negotiations and contractingIdentify regional cost-saving opportunities and successfully drive and execute on theseSupport NPI (New Product Introduction) sourcingSupplier identification and preferred supplier development.
