This role will involve close collaboration with C-level executives, Sales VPs, and external partners to ensure seamless operations and cost-effective solutions.This role is hired as a contractor, 100% Remote and, payment in USD. English proficiency is required (C1 or above)Key Responsibilities:Inventory and Demand Planning: Develop and execute inventory plans for multiple warehouses in the US and Canada. Orchestrate demand plans for all SKUs across retail, commercial, and direct-to-consumer sales channels.Supply Chain Forecasting: Manage 13-week supply chain cash forecasts to maintain financial accuracy and predict cash flow requirements.Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Conduct weekly S&OP meetings with C-level executives and Sales VPs, focusing on a rolling 15-month planning period to align production and supply with demand forecasts.Carrier Negotiations: Negotiate with Parcel, LTL, and TL carriers to reduce spend while maintaining high service levels for OTIF KPIs.Software Implementation: Serve as the implementation lead for Supply Chain software, ensuring successful deployment and integration into existing systems.Production Oversight: Oversee the production schedule of all direct spend suppliers to ensure replenishment timelines and new product launch dates are followed.3PL Management: Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to achieve strategic pricing and service goals. Position requires direct oversight of 3PLs service metrics.Budget Management: Manage overall Supply Chain budget for Direct and Indirect materials, ensuring optimal allocation and expenditure.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) preferred.Minimum 7 years' experience in supply chain management, inventory planning, and demand forecasting, with a track record of managing complex operations across multiple locations.The right candidate must have experience working with Chinese manufacturers/ suppliers as well as big-box retail experience (Amazon, Walmart, etc)Strong negotiation skills and experience managing carrier relationships.Expertise in S&OP processes and experience conducting high-level executive meetings.Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and achieve cost reduction goals.Experience with Supply Chain software and ERP systems implementation (Netsuite)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
