TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Garrison, North Dakota, 58540!About The PositionJob Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** 12-Hour Nights, Every Other Weekend **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per Week **Experience:** Minimum 2 Years **License:** Yes, Required **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** Long Term Care Experience **Job Description:** - Work in a 26-bed Long Term Care facility. - Perform duties as a Charge Nurse, including medication administration and wound care. - Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:10 during the day and 1:19 at night. - Care for patients with common diagnoses such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. - Utilize the Matrix EMR charting system. - Participate in two to three shifts of unit/department-specific orientation. - Follow a dress code requiring being clean and presentable; no specific scrub color is required. - Work every other weekend and every other major holiday. - Coordinate with available interdisciplinary team members, such as Physical Therapists and Social Workers as needed. - Communicate with physicians available by phone on-call after hours. - Use oxygen concentrators and portable concentrators as needed for oxygen therapy. - No requirement for clinical involvement in terms of IVs or titratable drips, telemetry monitors, team conferences, or floating between units. - No call or standby requirements.26078861EXPTEMPJob RequirementsRequired for OnboardingACLS - AHABLS - AHAPharmacologySkills ChecklistSpecialty Exam5 Benefits Of Travel NursingConfront diverse medical cases that challenge and expand your skill set.
