Senior Accountant

We are partnered with a leading consumer products company seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team! As part of this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting month-end and year-end close, and collaborating cross-functionally to provide actionable financial insights that drive business performance.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting functions.Monitor and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Analyze financial results, variances, and trends, providing actionable insights to management.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Support audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and providing documentation as needed.Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in consumer products, manufacturing, or retail industries.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in ERP systems (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative, innovative, and supportive work environment
