Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-driven Senior Accountant to take ownership of core accounting functions and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work truly makes an impact.Location: West Los Angeles (open to onsite or hybrid)Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including journal entries, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparationOwn end-to-end AP and AR functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, billing, collections, cash application, and DSO monitoringMaintain and enforce U.S. GAAP compliance, including revenue recognition policies and technical accounting research for complex or non-routine transactionsPrepare and present monthly financial statements and management reporting packages for senior leadershipLead external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and direct coordination with external auditorsImplement and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and general ledger structurePartner cross-functionally with FP&A, production, legal, and business teams to support operational and financial initiativesRequirementsBachelors Degree3+ years of experience in audit and in-house GL accounting rolesHighly proficient in accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Intacct, or similar)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, waterfalls, lookups, etc.)CPA PreferredDemonstrated expertise in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesDeep working knowledge of U.S. GAAP applied across reporting and compliance functionsSelf-starter with strong execution skills and meticulous attention to detail within a fast-paced environment**Industry Experience within Private Equity, Entertainment, Manufacturing, Technology, Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Family Office, OR Real EstatePlease submit your resume for consideration!We will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
