The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience art handling in a gallery, museum, professional artist studio, fine art trucking company, or auction house setting.

Work experience that provided knowledge of art history and the techniques used in the preservation, restoration, and/or exhibition of museum collections. Note: A Master’s Degree in Art History or a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of experience.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in arts administration, philanthropy, art education, fine arts, museum studies, or a closely related field, with a master's degree preferred.

The Museum Curator must also present the history of America's space and missile programs through tours, briefings, and community speaking events to diverse audiences. The Museum Curator should be able to coordinate and execute a variety of projects for the Museum in a timely manner and with a keen eye to detail.
