- Job Description Under the direction of the Executive Director the Youth & Family Program Director is responsible for the organization, delivery, and quality of YMCA programs (Afterschool, Day Camp, and Youth Sports) to Y members, program participants, and the community.
- The Program Director position includes, but is not limited to, developing relationships with principals, parents, part-time staff, and program participants; ensuring proper monitoring, evaluating, and improving program delivery; hiring and training; establishing collaborative partners; marketing and promoting Y programs; and working collaboratively with colleagues to accomplish collective goals.
- Essential Functions Oversees the development, implementation, and management of operating plans to promote growth and retention of programs and membership.
- May review and process program scholarship applications.
- Develops and monitors program budget to meet fiscal objectives.
