- Description Youth Crisis Center- Full time Youth Crisis Peer Support Specialist When youth experience a behavioral health crisis, they require a focused level of attention and care.
- As part of the integrated treatment team with our Youth Behavioral Health Community Crisis Center, the Youth Peer Support Specialists will provide support to youth who are experiencing a mental health crisis by sharing your lived experience to help promote recovery and resiliency.
- This position helps youth in understanding their role in accessing services, becoming informed consumers of services and self-advocacy within a crisis center setting.
- The staff at our Community Crisis Center work as part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat and stabilize behavioral health needs of individuals.
