- A successful applicant for Welding Engineer 3 will be expected to develop and lead multiple research projects and report results to stakeholders both internal and external to the laboratory.
- In addition to what was outlined at the lower level, at this level For Welding Engineer 4 an applicant will be expected to have extensive experience in welding, joining, and additive manufacturing, as well as exceeding the requirements of the lower level.
- They should be comfortable interfacing with federal program managers, high-level managers external to the Sigma division, and non-NNSA stakeholders.
- Abaqus, Ansys, Comsol, or similar.
- Located in beautiful northern New Mexico, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in strategic science on behalf of national security.
