- Operate the treatment plant by processing, monitoring and controlling the treatment process; calibration of instrumentation, handling hazardous materials, keeping records and routine testing of water quality and chemical residuals.
- Operate production facilities by operating municipal water wells and disinfection equipment and flushing the well.
- Operate the aquifer storage and recovery system by maintaining control of the system, deciding rates of injection of stored water, analyzing stored water quality and gathering and recording data.
- Work under close direction of a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) licensed operator during training period; attend training sessions, and other duties directed by the supervisor.
- Ability to work a designated non-rotating shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
