Responsibilities Job Summary This position directs and oversees the following functional areas of Consolidating Entity Financial Operations: General Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Financial Decision Support (including costing) and Revenue Reporting (related to Medicare reimbursement services and net patient revenue.
- Provides leadership and guidance in facilitating the complete external audit process, including preparation and analysis of the consolidated financial statements, management letter, and presentation to key leaders of the organization and board of directors.
- Responsible for Financial Operating departments to assure the accurate and timely completion of the monthly financial statements, annual audit reports, Medicare Cost Reports (and other related reports), Oversees unusual financial reporting requirements that emerge from grants and government programs, such as A133 & Prop 202 or changes in GAAP requirements to assist the organization make strategic and timely decisions.
