- This position will be responsible for the growth and development of the philanthropy department that encompasses annual fundraising, major gifts, planned giving and endowments, grants and corporate support, special projects, and volunteer programs.
- The Vice President (VP) of Philanthropic Services has oversight for the Annual Brighter Tomorrow Luncheon, all donor cultivation events, the Annual Community Report, fall and spring newsletters, and direct mail solicitations.
- In the role, you will supervise Philanthropic Services staff overseeing major gift fundraising, marketing, special events, community and governmental relations, local and national grant development, organizational communications, media relations, social media platforms, annual campaigns, tax credit programs, holiday mailings, seasonal giving campaigns, as well as the JFCS website.
- The position will lead and support a major gifts program with individuals, foundation and community support for gifts $10,000 - $1M. In addition, the Vice President will implement and plan individual cultivation strategies for planned giving commitments to grow the JFCS Legacy Society for endowments.
- As an executive level staff member, the individual will inspire staff to increase our vibrant donor base and stretch the limits of innovation and creativity as an active and visible presence in numerous philanthropic communities and events in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
