- Mount Indie is hiring a VP of Business Development to lead the growth of a woman-owned space and technology company headquartered in Houston, TX. In order to be successful in this role, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of various space and defense markets, encompassing commercial space services, comprehensive system and product development, and traditional government engineering services.
- This role will spearhead and manage the company's business development and sales endeavors, encompassing strategic planning, capture, teaming, marketing, proposal development, as well as overseeing associated budgets and personnel.
- Develop and implement an integrated sales and business development strategy to facilitate new business growth objectives.
- Recruit and nurture a proficient business development team, providing leadership, mentorship, and management to both direct report and matrixed personnel.
- Execute business development programs within allocated budgets, in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
