- Trade Compliance Manager for Weatherford, an Oilfield Services Company headquartered in the US. The person in this role is a key member of the Trade Compliance Team within Global Compliance providing advanced support to various Product Lines, including associated manufacturing and R&D supporting their international business in 80+ countries.
- The Trade Compliance Team is responsible for a wide breadth of programs including: classification data management; system holds; denied party screening; drafting issuing and training on formal trade guidance and standards; creating and auditing trade procedures; providing oversight to all trade-related government inquiries; and mitigating trade risk.
- The Trade Compliance Manager, in cooperation with Engineering and R&D, will review Weatherfords oilfield tools for assignment of appropriate import and export classifications, and will review matters for US deemed export and technology control concerns in the countries in which Weatherford operates.
- As Trade Compliance Manager the person will be a key contact for the business as they interact with Weatherfords denied party screening module, trade classification database, FTA module and TIB/logistics tracker.
- Subject matter expert for export/import trade matters including required experience in HTS and ECCN classifications; experience in deemed export reviews, country of origin, anti-boycott monitoring, sanctions, daily monitoring of restricted party screening modules.
