- The Tobacco Prevention Program Specialist(TPPS), under general supervision, performs a variety of technical tasks and community development work related to the planning, implementation and coordination of community service delivery programs; makes programmatic decisions, establishes basic programmatic policies and coordinates functions with other program areas, and performs related work as required.
- Role of coalition and community engagement coordinator.
- Broaden community engagement in tobacco control efforts and recruit for a diverse San Mateo County Tobacco Education Coalition membership.
- Coordinate with Tobacco-Use Prevention Education (TUPE) funded agencies and other partners to prevent tobacco use by youth.
- Under general supervision of the Tobacco Prevention Program (TPP) project director, coordinates the day-to-day functions of program.
