- Reporting to the Director of the Student Health Center, the Summer Camp Nurse serves as a medication administrator for all University's internally hosted summer camps.
- The Summer Camp Nurse properly stores and administers medication (when the parent or the participant cannot self-administer required medications) to minors, and provides first aid and medical treatment to the University's summer camps participants.
- The Summer Camp Nurse is responsible for collecting and retaining participants' immunization attestation, health history records, authorization for emergency medical treatment, instructions for medical administration, and release of medical information.
- Independently and accurately collect health information, review past medical history, collect and retain minor's immunization records, authorization for emergency medical treatment, and instructions for medication administration.
- Ensure the minor's parent or legal guardian has provided the minor's medicine in its original container or prescription container and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
