- Responsibilities Responsibilities and duties for the Telecom Fiber Inspector role will provide services to Utilities Telecom Construction which includes, but is not limited to, enforcing safety, quality control, ensuring that all work performed adheres to engineering design drawings, and that all applicable specifications and Utilities Telecom construction standards are properly followed by the contractors.
- Telecom Fiber Inspector is responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional working relationship with engineers, contractors, subcontractors and the general public.
- Requirements Review Utilities issued documents for contractibility prior to start of construction and report/manage potential contractibility issues.
- Be on site during all construction activities Verify Contractor’s work is adequately performed and follows current Utility standards Enforce all Utilities terms and conditions, including all legal, safety, environmental and other terms applicable to the work being performed Check and verify all materials stored on and off site for payment as well as materials used in site construction against submittals.
- Check and verify the installation of materials and equipment.
