- The Technology Development and Sales Engineer - Digital Services is a specialized and critical position accountable for contributing to HarbisonWalker Internationals overall business performance by promoting the use of HarbisonWalker International refractory products and supporting customer relationships through their expert product and service knowledge.
- In addition to providing technical solutions for a value add over typical refractory sales, this role is responsible for developing service packages, which are sold by HWI, and may include partner companies and leading technologies.
- Developing business cases for new digital technology; creating, executing and tracking new product launch plans by using their expertise in developing refractory measurement and sensors, and forging legal agreements such as NDAs, LOIs, Patent and invention disclosures
- Providing expert technical advice and support to solve for customer inquiries, problems, and needs; providing internal and external training on HarbisonWalker International products and applications; collaborating with internal R&D department on complaint investigations and failure analysis to ensure information share and goal alignments
- Requires B.S. degree in Engineering, Ceramics, Metallurgy, Chemical, Materials Science or related field
