As part of the HCVT Fort Worth team, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with a tax practice that is focused on serving clientele in the Alternative Investment Management industry. HCVT operates under a hybrid working model. Employees are expected to work at their assigned office a minimum of two days per week. Additionally, we expect employees to participate in required firm events/meeting (e.g., trainings, team bonding, client meetings, etc.)
Key responsibilities:
This position supports the day-to-day accounting and tax compliance of client fund partnership vehicles. Client businesses are generally focused on private equity, infrastructure, private debt, and real estate investments.
This position will focus on aspects of client engagements at the senior level dealing primarily with U.S. income tax withholding (ECI, FDAP, ETC.) and FATCA/CRS reporting.
Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Assisting with IRS W form preparation and/or review, and working with client personnel and your engagement manager(s) to respond to investor tax inquiries or ad-hoc requests appropriately.
Prospective candidates will be expected to: Meet all compliance work schedule/deadlines, communicate effectively with your management/partner team, and ensure quality of work product.

The experience, skills, and credentials we are seeking:
Bachelor’s degree, J.D., LL.M in taxation, and/or master’s in taxation from an accredited college/university
CPA or licensed attorney strongly preferred
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; partnership tax and/or private equity experience strongly preferred
Ability to identify and propose resolutions to income tax issues as they arise
Excellent in multi-tasking and managing priorities against key deadlines; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
Strong communication skills both written and verbal; ability to communicate directly with client personnel, internal teams and external advisors and work effectively in a dynamic work environment
This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000.
