- As a Systems Engineer Lead, you will work closely with the Chief Engineer, Signal Processing Engineers, Software Engineers, and Integration and Test Engineers, to design, and develop, capabilities for sensors used in space.
- Develop sensor architectures as they map to low-level algorithms between hardware, firmware, flight software, and ground software.
- Participate in development phases from detailed requirements flow down, trade studies, processing architecture design, hardware selection, firmware and software development, sensor and payload integration and test, spacecraft integration and test, and on-orbit support.
- Actively work with multi-domain team of engineers including software, firmware, electrical, optical, and test engineers to coordinate system design efforts across multiple programs, including embedded software, ground support software, and test equipment software.
- Work closely with the chief engineer, electrical engineers, signal processing, mechanical, and test engineers, to convey sensor design architectural details, software message interactions process flows, software architectural design layout, hardware placement design, and firmware control interfaces, Interface with technical management and execution of engineering activities requirements analysis, Implementation planning, integration and test, documentation, deployment, and system assessment.
