- Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the University Communications and Marketing as a Social Media Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Spring 2024.
- The Social Media Assistant will collaborate with the Social Media Team to conceptualize, create, and curate captivating content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok. The Social Media Assistant will assist in developing and maintaining content calendars that align with university events, initiatives, and overall marketing strategies.
- The Social Media Assistant will capture, film, and edit engaging videos that showcase campus life, student achievements, faculty highlights, and other university-related content.
- Collaborates with the Communications Specialist and Communications Manager to implement strategies that enhance social media engagement and growth.
- Provides support during university events and campaigns, which may require working outside of traditional 8 - 5 work hours to include weekends.
