- The Stationary Engineer is responsible for safely, reliably, and efficiently operating boilers, ancillary equipment, and multiple chilled water process.
- When assigned watch as Control Operator, the Stationary Engineer oversees the operation of assigned plant(s) and distribution system(s).
- Stands watch as Lead Control Operator, Control Operator, or Auxiliary Operator, as assigned, and oversees assigned personnel, if any, and equipment
- Controls cooling tower, boiler and feedwater quality, taking steps to assure that prescribed water management procedures are being followed.
