Regularly review Dodge reports, Other Published Construction Data, invitations to bid, emails and any other material / sources that may lead to biddable jobs.. Qualifications A minimum of 4 years of electrical estimating experience on commercial and multifamily projects ranging up to $50M. Proven experience as estimator or similar position Familiarity with financial and project management principles Extensive experience with Excel, Word and one of the major computerized estimating programs (e.g. Accubid, Pro Core, LiveCount, ConEst, McCormick, etc.)

Our firm is expanding, and we need an ambitious Sr. Estimator who is flexible and willing to work estimates in multiple diverse markets of the electrical construction industry. The Sr Electrical Estimator will lead, oversee and prepare job cost estimates for large and small complex electrical construction projects in the plan, design, and construction phase. This position will collaborate with our Chief Estimator to produce and complete bid proposals. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong communication and business development skills. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop accurate and timely electrical construction estimates Calculate the cost of electrical construction based on reviewing and evaluating available documents Attend estimating meetings, and project meetings to discuss bid status, and present/resolve issues, and prepare "RFI" questions Analyze and interpret detailed drawings and specifications Work on change-orders and cost-to-complete estimates of on-going projects Attend job site walk-throughs and pre-bid meetings and collaborate with clients and design professionals Draft scope letters, and proposals Develop and maintain a positive relationship with vendors Solicit new business. Review all Job Cost Summary Reports and evaluates the profitability of all completed jobs. Ensure that assigned sales and bid gross profit goals are met. Regularly review Dodge reports, Other Published Construction Data, invitations to bid, emails and any other material / sources that may lead to biddable jobs. Maintain CVE Bid Tracking Log with bid results as available.
