- General Summary: Assesses, monitors, measures, analyzes, validates, and reports on credit risk activities related to the Bank's Advance program, investment activities, and the Mortgage Purchase Program.
- Prepares complex analyses of the financial strength and performance of all credit related counterparties of FHLB of Cincinnati, including but not limited to, banks, broker dealers, credit unions, insurance companies, community development financial institutions, future commission merchants, resale, unsecured Treasury counterparties, and vendors, to measure and stratify the level of credit risk exposure created by extending credit to an institution or counterparty.
- Prepares periodic complex narrative financial analyses of Member institutions as well as vendors, and foreign and domestic unsecured counterparties detailing both quantitative and qualitative factors in support of an assigned risk rating conclusion.
- Processes updates to financial condition and performance data in internal systems/applications, as well as factors reliant on this data (regulatory financial data, collateral statuses, ratings, etc
- Maintains professional knowledge of financial analysis techniques used in evaluating the financial strength and performance of various types of financial institutions, including insurance companies, commercial banks, community development financial institutions, and credit unions.
