- The individuals assist the Director with Sexual Harassment Awareness & Prevention Education and Anti-discrimination Education, Title IX, and other related trainings.
- All positions may serve as Deputy Title IX coordinators appointed to the University Title IX coalition.
- The Specialist/Investigator 3 conducts complaint investigations related to issues arising under Title VI, and VII, of the Civil Rights Act and Title IX of the Education Amendments and receives assignment of Nevada Employee Rights Commission (NERC) and Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) complaints as well as increasingly complicated cases such as stalking, sexual violence and assault, or other known trauma sensitive cases.
- Experience in investigations, human resources, human relations, student conduct, or a related field; and experience in equal opportunity, Title IX, interpersonal violence, federal or state compliance, or experience with federal and state laws and regulations related to diversity and equity, including but not limited to Title IX, Title VII, and VAWA; legal research and writing, or report writing experience; public speaking; experience working with diverse populations or related.
