- In this role, you will serve as an aircraft simulator and academic instructor for students enrolled in the US Air Force Undergraduate Flying Training program.
- You will instruct students with basic skills involving aircraft flight, instruments and night flying, formation flying, performing aerobatic and evasive maneuvers, cross-country flights to unfamiliar fields, and flying low-level missions.
- 75 flight hours of Instrument Time (at least 10 hours must be in actual instrument conditions)
- FAA Certifications, following will be accepted: Fixed wing with Instrument rating, Certificated flight instructor, Military instructor pilot rating
- Knowledge of aircraft systems and operating procedures; aerodynamics, flying fundamentals, aircraft instrumentation, ground and flight emergency procedures, and instrument and visual flight rules, as well as knowledge of training aircraft, and of the operation, characteristics, and limitations of the corresponding aircraft simulator.
