- This newly formed position will oversee the financial, insurance, human resources, IT, and other crucial business operations of the $40mil budget arts organization that exclusively operates the 3400 seat Music Hall at Fair Park and presents hundreds of touring Broadway performances, dance, spoken word, concerts, and other events each year.
- Since 2017, Broadway Dallas (formerly Dallas Summer Musicals) has invested millions of dollars in maintaining the century-old Music Hall, increased its earned and contributed revenues by tens of millions of dollars, more than quadrupled its education and community partnership programs, and ended each fiscal year in a budget surplus.
- This leader will also establish and sustain deepening relationships with civic stakeholders including the City of Dallas, Fair Park First and surrounding South Dallas organizations, Broadway Across America, Live Nation, AT&T Performing Arts Center, and other local and national entities.
- Improve and better implement and enforce policies and procedures across the organization: monthly departmental income and expense and projection reports for staff and board; cash disbursements; payroll processing, benefits tracking, and other HR improvements in association with Broadway Dallas' PEO; appropriate and timely contribution and cash receipts processing and reconciliation of those receipts in accounting and donor databases-NetSuite and Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge, respectively
- Short and long term strategy and planning in new business initiatives, HR (benefits, structure/workflows/processes), insurance, capital projects, and legal needs
