- Job Profile SummaryThe Senior Director, Risk Management is responsible for innovation necessary to investigate and identify existing and emerging enterprise risks, evaluate the strategies to mitigate those risks, and develop operational risk management procedures.
- A.R.M. (Associate in Risk Management) or C.P.C.U. (Certified Property and Casualty Underwriter) or Certified Insurance Consultant or Certified Risk Manager and/or Certified Safety Professional designation preferred.
- Experience managing all aspects of a risk management program, including the College’s Enterprise Risk Management program.
- Essential Functions:Weekly -10%: In concert with the General Counsel, provides leadership and direction in the planning, development, and administration of committees, programs, systems, and work processes, which are necessary to perform or support activities required for risk management programs.
- Weekly -10%: In concert with the General Counsel, advises college-wide faculty and staff on matters that relate directly or indirectly to exposure of the individual or the institution to liability.
