- Primary responsibility is to generate catering revenue and guest rooms (Social/Wedding Blocks and Group for less than 10 on peak with event space) for the hotel within the designated market(s) through goals set by the Director of Groups and Events.
- The scope of the goals includes being an integral participant in the initiatives set forth for the Catering Sales Department, the Sales and Marketing Department and the hotel.
- Proactive strategic component i.e. development of tactical action plans to target business.
- To quote rates and availability that are in line with group room rate selling guidelines and in line with conference space selling guidelines as set by Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Groups and Events.
- Follow-up with in-house guest to ensure on-going service to the guest.
