- The Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) is seeking a Senior Associate Director of Development for the George Washington University Central Initiatives team, encompassing all aspects of a student's university life outside of academics and athletics, as well as key university-wide priorities.
- The Senior Associate Director will serve as liaison to the GW Alliance for a Sustainable Future ( ), a university-wide initiative that will form a powerful strategic alliance of research institutes, academic programs, offices, organizations, and individuals dedicated to the shared mission of combating climate change and promoting healthy and thriving resource systems for all.
- The initiative will amplify and leverage GW's multidisciplinary expertise in the areas of sustainability, climate change, and environmental justice.
- The gift officer will work closely with the Alliance's Executive Director, the Director of Strategic Initiatives, for the School of Media and Public Affairs.
- This position will average 8-10 prospect visits monthly and will identify, research, and cultivate individual giving prospects, in part by engaging in 500 substantive contacts per year.
