- Graduate, Undergraduate and Equity Affairs (GUEA) provides leadership and support for efforts that advance UC equity and inclusion, that promote access to and successful completion of baccalaureate and graduate degrees, and that help to provide an exemplary student academic experience.
- Serves as a member of the curriculum and user management support team for the Articulation System Stimulating Interinstitutional Student Transfer (ASSIST), an intersegmental program based on shared objectives across the University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), and California Community College (CCC) systems to facilitate student transfer among the state's public colleges and universities.
- Researches, analyzes, and proposes stakeholder-focused solutions to a variety of higher education issues within a college student transfer and academic preparation context.
- Cultivates and maintains collaborative, service-oriented relationships with institutions across the state's public education segments (UC, CSU, CCC, AICCU and K-12) and other organizations involved in student transfer.
- Develops and recommends policies or procedures for possible implementation by the ASSIST Central Services team, under direction of the ASSIST Program Director and with guidance from the ASSIST Associate Director.
