- Evaluates, tests, recommends, develops, coordinates, monitors, and maintains infrastructure security policies, procedures and systems, including hardware, firmware and software.
- Develops techniques and procedures for conducting infrastructure security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on infrastructure security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
- Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on F5 Load Balancer system/application development life cycle to ensure security infrastructure processes, concepts, and maintenance are incorporated into systems, software, and hardware platforms.
- Provides the highest level of technical support (Level III) handling the most difficult or advanced problems by troubleshooting software, hardware, and application services across a heterogeneous network infrastructure; provides SME advice to Level I and II support personnel and researches and develops solutions to new or previously unknown issues.
- Provides SME advice and quality control in the review of completed security infrastructure product updates and audits and ensures security infrastructure devices such as equipment, addresses and circuits are in compliance with applicable regulatory and corporate standards/requirements.
