- GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:While under the direct supervision of the Principal, the school psychologist will provide services that assist parents and professionals in meeting the educational and social/emotional/behavioral, and mental health needs of children.
- Provides professional advice and consultation to students, parents, staff and faculty on all matters related to psychological needs and services in the schools.
- Researches and studies the field of child growth and development in order to recognize the academic, social and emotional needs of children.
- KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Knowledge of psychological testing and assessment techniques and practices.
