- The Safety & Wellness Manager is responsible for administering, managing, and over-all growth of IRC Wichita's Safety & Wellness (S&W) program.
- They will provide leadership, support, and ongoing supervision to advance objectives within the Safety, Health, and Power focus areas of the IRC Wichita's Strategic Action Plan. The program currently focuses on mental health and psychosocial support, comprehensive case management, and systems navigation for a variety of vulnerable populations including refugees, asylum seekers, victims of crime, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those experiencing emotional distress.
- Support the S&W team in developing and delivering community-based programming for immigrant populations, by connecting to and activating traditional healing networks, using existing community support systems, building on client strengths and assets, and tapping into other community resources complemented by IRC resources and curriculum.
