- Risk Management Spclst IV: Reporting to the Director, the Risk Management Director performs highly complex (senior-level) work in directing the identification, development, implementation, and evaluation of risk management loss control programs and guidelines.
- This position also performs supervision over other departments including the following: Safety, Emergency Planning, Workers’ Comp./Return to Work, Security, and Incident Management.
- Develops and implements facility policies, programs, guidelines, and procedures in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and ICF-IID regulatory requirements related to risk management, safety, emergency preparedness, and workers compensation.
- Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency’s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation.
- Knowledge of loss control management; of training and presentation techniques, of worker's compensation and safety program management; of law, agency policies and programs, rules of the commissioner, federal and state regulations and other external standards pertaining to the provision of services in an ICF-IID residential facility; and of risk management concepts and techniques.
