- Respite is a short-term group living environment that provides treatment of intermittent crisis and stabilization for adults who are diagnosed with a mental health/substance use disorder.
- The goal of the Respite program is to work collaboratively with individuals to develop skills to maintain their independence in the community and to live a life that is not defined by their mental illness.
- Provide modeling and training to direct care staff in relation to evidence-based interventions and monitor implementation in collaboration with program supervisors.
- Collaborate with community providers, such as: Department of Mental Health, local hospitals/inpatient units, independent services providers, probation/parole and others.
