- Site RSC (Resident Services Coordinator) will do outreach and make initial contact with DSS/HRA regarding homeless household referral prior to move in.
- RSC will conduct a preliminary interview that would determine any of the resident’s initial basic needs to include apartment furnishings, utilities, etc.
- These referrals could be for homecare, health care needs, mental health treatment, school registration, childcare, substance abuse treatment, financial literacy, legal services, education assistance, transportation, senior centers, etc.
- Policies and procedures for rent payment, maintenance requests, required upkeep of unit, trash removal, smoking, fire prevention, security, laundry, visitors, quiet hours, extermination, annual recertification, annual inspections, resident rights, reasonable accommodations, code of conduct, VAWA, etc.
- RSC will follow up on all above noted referrals regarding initial service needs for homecare, health care needs, childcare, transportation, mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, etc.
