- The Department of Psychiatry & Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri invites applications for an Assistant/Associate/ or Full Research Professor position to work in the Health Neuroscience Center (PI. Dr. Brett Froeliger).
- Research studies in the HNC are organized around interleaving cognitive neuroscience techniques, mobile technologies and clinical trial methodology to investigate novel treatments for substance use disorders-including nicotine, cocaine and opioid use disorders.
- Ongoing projects include examining the effects of neurostimulation, pharmacotherapies and mindfulness-based interventions for treating addiction pathophysiology.
- The laboratory is housed within the newly built Cognitive Neuroscience Systems (CNS) core facility that is equipped with a research dedicated Siemens PRISMA MRI scanner, full suite of psychophysiology, TMS and Neuronavigation equipment, numerous cognitive / behavioral testing rooms and office space for faculty, students and staff.
- Serve as the Project Director of one or more NIH funded research studies.
