- The Research Associate II / Associate Scientist I position will support preclinical development of MacroGenics antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) through cell line engineering and molecular biology support.
- Develops stable cell lines using techniques that deliver and integrate DNA/RNA into the host genome using lentivirus transduction, lipid-based transfection, and electroporation methods to support preclinical ADC research and development.
- Utilizes molecular biology techniques to conduct experiments involving DNA/RNA isolation and purification, expression construct design, molecular cloning and sub-cloning, RT-qPCR, PCR, sequencing, genotyping, and RNA profiling, contributing to preclinical and clinical research programs.
- Designs and executes cell-based and biochemical assays to validate engineered cell lines and targets through flow cytometry, reporter assays, ELISA, western blotting, and cytotoxicity assays to select lead preclinical candidates.
- Collects and analyzes data, interprets results, and presents results at internal research meetings contributing to go/no-go decisions on preclinical ADC programs.
