- This position reports to the Director of Organizing and Community Engagement and has a demonstrated and deep commitment to racial justice, reproductive freedom, and the values of the ACLU of Virginia.
- The primary objectives of this position are to work alongside the ACLU of Virginia's Reproductive Freedom Project Team and be the primary lead on providing community-level education on our affiliate initiatives, base-building support around our work, and mobilizing grassroots communities across Central Virginia and parts of Northern Virginia around reproductive freedom and an accompanying state constitutional amendment.
- This is a new position, and the individual hired will be able to assist in the development of the ACLU of Virginia's community organizing and engagement programs.
- Working with the Organizing team and the ACLU of Virginia's integrated advocacy Reproductive Freedom Project Team to assist in crafting and implementing strategies needed to advance the organization's reproductive freedom priorities - particularly those strategies and tactics pertaining to community organizing;
- Work with the ACLU of Virginia's Reproductive Freedom Project Team to research and draft campaign materials;
