- As a Renewable Energy Engineer, you will work closely with underwriters, project developers, investors, asset manufactures and related parties to enhance AXIS' role as a risk partner to clients by providing risk management advice and services.
- The ideal candidate for this role will have a professional background in renewable energy, hold a degree in mechanical, aerospace, chemical or electrical engineering, and have a desire to work in and learn about emerging trends and marketplace developments in the U.S. renewable energy industry.
- This role will report to the US Renewable Energy Principal Engineer with additional leadership guidance and support from the Head of Engineering, Renewable Energy.
- Support AXIS Global Energy Resilience's US onshore renewables team by providing technical guidance on all submissions in the North American and LatAm portfolio (wind, solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), green hydrogen & other emergent low carbon technologies)
- With support from the global engineering team, create internal best practice guidelines for new and emerging technologies (green hydrogen, gravity storage, floating wind)
