- Under the direction of the Manager, Director and Vice President, the Registered Respiratory Care Therapist performs all duties of a Certified Respiratory Therapist, as well as takes an active roll in in service education and orientation programs.
- Works closely with the Respiratory Care Specialist in the evaluation of respiratory care modality efficacy and protocol programs.
- The Registered Respiratory Care Therapist interprets information and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, performs simple mathematical computations, uses problem solving techniques, good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
- The Registered Respiratory Care Therapist provides care appropriate to the age of the patient, including the unique physical and psychological needs of the neonate (if applicable), pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- Registered as Respiratory Therapist by receiving a passing score on the NBRC Registration Exam. Licensed by the State of Missouri as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
