- Essential Functions: Research and conduct canvass calls to customers (new and existing) in assigned region Presents/reviews machine quotations with customers utilizing videos and PowerPoint presentations highlighting machine features and benefits.
- Prepare machine RFQs Support customer visits during pre-sales meetings, machine build update meetings, and FATs Update and maintain CRM with sales activities accounts, contacts, and activities Reviews machinery layouts and works with engineering to affect more efficient space utilization in the customer’s facility Supports the company’s strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals of new machine sales.
- Prepares forecasting activities and monitors individual performance goals and KPIs Review market analyses to determine customer needs and areas for portfolio development Prepares weekly expense reports, as necessary Develops and maintains relationship contacts with key customers and industry partners.
- Qualifications BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Degree in BA or BS degree from an accredited university, or equivalent education and or equivalent work experience Must have at least 5+ years of capital equipment or automated machinery sales experience Energetic, effective, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills who is able to work under pressure and communicate effectively to the intended audience.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proven record of accomplishment as a top performer while selling in a competitive sales atmosphere.
