- Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or designee, the Recreational Therapist will engage patients in therapeutic activities.
- Recreational therapists will plan, direct, and coordinate recreation-based medical treatment programs to help maintain or improve patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being.
- Education/Experience Requirements Required: Completed a bachelor’s degree (an associate degree may be accepted depending on work experience) 1-5 years of work experience (depending on level of education) Licensure/Certification Requirements Required: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
