- The LACC Department of Radiologic Technology is seeking an equity-minded, dynamic, collaborative, and innovative Instructor to serve in a full-time permanent, tenure track C-basis (10 month) position.
- DEPARTMENT The Radiologic Technology Degree Program at LACC prepares you to work as a Radiologic Technologist in the medical field.
- Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Examination (ARRT) and pursue a Radiologic Technology License in the State of California.
- Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification registration or equivalent in radiation therapy · Current valid, unrestricted CA license in Radiography and Fluoroscopy · Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, and ethnic backgrounds of the community, college faculty, staff, and students.
- In addition to the regular weekly teaching load duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: § Provide engaging instruction in current radiologic technology in theory, lab components, and clinical practice (e.g., medical terminology, radiographic math and physics, patient healthcare issues, patient communication and interactions, fluoroscopy, image production, digital radiography, proper radiographic and anatomical positioning, quality management, etc
