Job Summary And Qualifications Performs Imaging studies of various parts of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injury. <ul><li>Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed </li><li>Performs procedures assesses patients throughout and responds to patient needs as appropriate </li><li>Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed </li><li>Performs all computer and PACS functions </li><li>Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of Universal protocols </li><li>Uses professional judgment and critical thinking when performing procedures </li><li>Participates in orientation and training of new staff members and instructs students during their clinical rotations </li><li>Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures </li><li>Follows all Radiation dose monitoring guidelines </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned </li></ul>What qualifications you will need: <ul><li>Basic Cardiac Life Support </li><li>State Registered Radiologic Technician</li><li>Associate Degree</li><li>Registered Computerized Tomography Technician, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) </li></ul>This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
