- A communication professional with strategic vision for print, video, digital and web initiatives in public relations, the assistant leads the development of editorial projects across the institution while adhering to the College’s public relations style guide, branding, and voice.
- The assistant can identify key aspectsof an event/story/topic and maintains the ability to leverage them for use in editorial, web, video or photo media.
- The assistant must have knowledge of press releases, web page management, social media, video production and photography.
- MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Writes and edits copy for myriad projects including news releases, advertisements, marketing collateral, brochures, newsletters, posters, flyers, scripts, speeches, webpages and E-blasts while adhering to the College’s public relations style guide, branding, and voice.
- Develops social media campaigns and outreach strategies while monitoring and maintaining the College’s official platforms in consultation with the assistant director of public relations or other designated management from the College’s Office of Public Relations.
