- The Project Manager- is instrumental in management and oversight of the design and construction of projects.
- Coordinates between the Facility Operations and Design & Construction Departments as well as outside contractors, engineers, and other specialty consultants for design review and construction of projects as necessary.
- S(he) performs a variety of design and construction management tasks requiring application of specific industry related techniques and knowledge.
- Administers the construction phase of projects by initiating and expediting all contracts and purchase orders, overseeing all related activities of the architect, engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and users, and monitoring the budget and schedule to ensure meeting the Project goals.
- Administers the process for obtaining all internal, state, and local Project Reporting Reviews, permits and inspections required by and relating to OSHA, ADA, JCAHO, EOC, ILSM, IDPH and City of Chicago agencies and regulatory requirements.
